Mission
Creek Regional Park is a recreation
destination park and event grounds located in the community of
Kelowna, BC in the Okanagan Valley. The well maintained park is
a popular destination for hiking, picnicking, biking and birdwatching.
The park borders Mission Creek and encompasses
over 92 hectares. The grass lawns, the playground, hiking trails
and the EECO Centre (an interpretive centre on the local eco systems)
attracts many to the park including families and school groups.
The trail within the park is 2-3 kilometres and
connects to the Greenway Trail. The
trail follows the shores of Mission Creek and leads to a spawning
channel and some ponds. Along the trail are viewing benches and
information signs detailing the local habitat.
Onsite, in the park, is a children's playground,
picnic tables, picnic shelter and washrooms.

to Get to Mission
Creek Regional Park :
There are many access points to the park. The
main parking lot is on Springfield Road. There are less popular
access points to the park on Leckie, Hall and Ziprick Roads.
