City
Park is a green space park situated
on the shores of Okanagan Lake in the heart of the community of
Kelowna, British Columbia in the Okanagan Valley. The park is
one of the most popular parks within city limits. The walkway
in the park is a popular route enjoyed by joggers, dog walkers
and rollerbladers.
The park borders downtown shops, restaurants
and attractions on one side and Okanagan Lake and a sandy beach
on the other side. The location of the park makes it easy to access
therefore creating a popular destination for visitors when visiting
the downtown core of Kelowna.
City Park includes a paved, wheelchair accessible
path exploring the shores of Okanagan Lake leading to a sandy
beach, picnic tables, viewing benches and more beautiful lake
views. The paved access road and pathway into the park leads to
playing fields, grass lawns, a playground and a skate board park.
